The QNX® OS for Safety is certified to two functional safety standards: ISO 26262 at ASIL D and IEC 61508 at SIL3. It has also been used in systems certified to EN 50128 at SIL 4. It provides a resilient platform on which application developers can build safety critical systems that must meet the most stringent functional safety requirements in a variety of markets including automotive, industrial automation, medical, energy generation and railway transportation.
