RTS Embedded Systems, April 5-7 in
Paris, France Paris Expo - Porte de Versailles - Hall 3
Join QNX Software Systems at RTS Embedded Systems 2005 in booth
H33. This event brings together 85 French and international
exhibitors, suppliers for real-time and embedded operating systems,
new products in development hardware and software tools as well as
card and component manufacturers.
QNX Software Engineer, Sheridan Ethier, will be presenting
"Application-Driven Power Management for In-Car Telematics and
Infotainment Systems." Compared to PDAs, notebooks, and other
general-purpose mobile devices, in-car telematics systems present a
host of unique power management requirements. They must, for
instance, deal with custom hardware, deliver predictable response
times while in low-power states, and maintain operational readiness
for days or weeks after the ignition has been turned off.
