Description
QNX has now made it easy to engage, explore, develop, and profit, using our complete suite of embedded software technologies with an innovative hybrid software model. QNX is giving the embedded community what it's always wanted: source code, transparent development, community - all in one place. Now download the QNX microkernel source code, when you join Foundry27, the new QNX community. And in the coming weeks, QNX will be releasing a second code drop focused on networking (io-pkt).

Join us for a chat session with Dr. Robert Craig, Manager of the Networking team at QNX Software Systems, as well as Romain Saha, QNX networking and telecom segment manager. The experts will walk you through the next generation networking stack, protocols, drivers (io-pkt) and how they work - as well as provide insight into this new hybrid software model and what it means to the embedded developer.

Put simply, the new approach combines advantages of both commercial and open-source software models. What's it in for you? Register and get a sneak preview of the second QNX code release.

Estimated Length: 1 hour, including Q & A.

Who should Attend: This one-hour chat session with a short Q&A will be of great interest to embedded software developers, managers, architects.

Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this session.
