Configure the software and boot the reference image

The default configuration of the image is set up to run the ADAS example application using pre-recorded sensor data.

Setting up your PC to use the reference image

The VMware image provided is compatible with VMware Workstation Pro 12.0 or later, VMware Workstation Player 12.0 or later, and VMware Fusion Pro 8.0 or later. Please ensure that your PC has one of these compatible software components installed.

Booting the reference image

Start VMware, choose File > Open... and navigate to the directory where you extracted the ZIP file in step 4 of “Get the reference image”.
Select the file vmware.vmx.
After you start the virtual machine, you should see the point cloud viewer of the ADAS example displaying the pre-recorded sensor data.
