With the adoption of the QNX Hybrid Software Model, the QNX Development Suite v6.3.2 (and later versions) is now offered under four different licensing streams, defined by their corresponding QNX Developer Licenses (QDLs):

• Commercial Software License Agreement: This license defines the commercial stream, for those interested in producing and/or distributing commercial products which embed QNX technology or offering related services. You will also find relevant information here if you have licensed QNX software in an end user product and have received a corresponding QNX License Certificate.
• Partner Software License Agreement: This license defines the stream for those wanting to obtain QSS software to develop products that are complementary to the QNX Development Suite, or to assist QNX customers in their product development efforts. Certain limits apply to these free, perpetual licenses.
• Non-Commercial End User License Agreement: This license defines the stream for non-commercial developers (e.g. hobbyists, students, academic faculty members), or those who simply want to evaluate our software. These licenses are free and are perpetual for non-commercial developers.
• Open Source License Agreements: QSS has started to publish certain parts of QNX software under open source license terms, which allow you to use the software for any purpose.
